After reviewing several contractors, I hired Diamond Vale Projects Ltd for a 2 bedroom home addition. The owner Richard was professional, transparent, and kept me updated every step of the way.

He respected the home, and kept the site tidy and finished timely without exceeding the budget. Any concerns I had, he addressed promptly and thoroughly.

Richard and his Diamond Vale team worked on my mother's house in Luton on two separate occasions - the exterior in 2019 and a flood-damaged interior in 2022 - and on both times I was extremely happy with the work done and the value for money.

Most of all I was impressed by Richard's can-do attitude and his ability to solve unforeseen problems - the sort of thing you only discover once the floor's fully taken up or the wall's come down or whatever - in the face of painful budget realities. I heartily recommend Diamond Vale to anyone in the area.

Richard responded very quickly when I needed someone to do a small job I couldnt do. He did it very promptly efficiently and was happy to do a small job will definately use him again if needed. Would recommend.

Richard did some refurbishment work for me. He made many good suggestions for how the work could be done better before he started and when he did do the work, he took care to match the colour of the new materials with the existing so the repair work blended in well.

Richard got on with the work and finished in the time estimated, despite unfavourable weather. I would certainly recommend Richard.

Richard and the Diamond Vale Projects team, were recommended to me and they did a brilliant job replacing a badly damaged bargeboard on the apex of my house for a new wooden one with black gloss finish.

Other work included filling cracks on white precast stone sills and columns externally and finishing them with a white weather shield paint. Progress of work was communicated with me at every stage and any problems were highlighted with an honest practical solution. The work was completed on time and below the estimated budget.

Richard listened to my requirements for demolishing a broken front garden wall and building a new one. I am very pleased with the results and my house looks vastly improved from the front. The builders cleared up all the mess and neighbours have been complementary about the new wall.

We recently worked with Richard at Diamond Vale Projects on two major projects in our home — creating a new WC under the stairs and knocking through to form a kitchen-diner — and we couldn’t be happier with the results! This required new plumbing, full demolition, electrics and installing a steam beam between rooms.
